Basement Force has been undertaking above and below ground level structural works for basements since 1994.

Basement Force has been undertaking below ground structural works since 1994. Initially this was mainly foundation repair work.

The company was then one of the first contractors to start constructing basements below existing residential buildings in London.

We now work either directly for homeowners or for their professional advisors including architects, designers and engineers, or as subcontractors for some of London's leading residential main contractors.

The majority of our projects come from repeat customers and personal recommendations and our portfolio includes over 250 completed projects ranging from £100,000 to over £5,000,00.

We undertake the below ground waterproofing of our basements and can also complete most above ground structural work, especially if this above ground work is integral to the basement construction.

In addition, we still complete remedial foundation work for major insurers, local authorities and housing associations, having passed their audit procedures for technical competence, financial stability and health and safety performance.

We are a member of ASUC (Association of Specialist Underpinning Contractors), a trade body whose aim is to promote high standards in the specialist foundations industry. A mark of the standing of ASUC is that any basement construction work on the Grosvenor or Cadogan Estates in central London can only be undertaken by an ASUC member. On average only one out of ten contractors who apply to join ASUC successfully satisfy the entry requirements which cover technical competence, staff training, financial strength, insurance and health and safety.

As members we are routinely vetted every two years on all the ASUC entrance requirements.
